By default, nearby verified runners bid on your request. You compare their prices, ratings and distance, and pick who you want. And when you just need a parcel moved fast, suwe express gives you a fixed fare and assigns the nearest reliable rider for you.
Two ways. Pay from your Suwe account with no card fee: the amount stays locked in your own account until the job is done. Or pay by card as before, securely through Paystack, our licensed payment provider, which splits the payment between Suwe's fees and your runner's earnings and pays the runner directly. If a job fails or isn't done as agreed, raise a dispute in the app and you're refunded where our refund policy applies.
Yes. Every runner completes NIN + selfie identity verification before they can take jobs, so there's a real, traceable person behind every offer.
Market runs, deliveries, errands, queue-standing, food and vendor pickups, shopping, and most custom requests, as long as it's legal and doable.
Yes. For the first 5 minutes after you pay, cancelling gets you everything back. After that your runner keeps their fee for the time they've put in, and the Suwe fee and card processing come back to you. If your runner is running late, you always get everything back. Once you've paid the shop for your items, the job can't be cancelled in the app; report a problem instead and our team will sort it out.
Both. Suwe is out now on iPhone on the App Store and on Android on Google Play, and it is free to download on either.
Suwe express is instant dispatch for parcels and documents. Instead of comparing bids, you see a fixed fare computed from the distance (a base fare plus a per-km rate) before you confirm. Suwe then automatically offers the job to a nearby, well-rated runner, who can accept or pass. You pay only after a rider is assigned, with the same payment and refund protection as any request, and assignment is never influenced by who pays us more. If no rider is free, you can post it as a normal bidding request instead.
You pay the shop directly, so your runner never has to spend their own money on your order. Your payment through Suwe covers only the runner's fee and Suwe's fees. When your runner has the shop's bill, you get a photo of it and the shop's bank-verified account details in the app, and you transfer straight to the shop within about 7 minutes (with one in-app extension if you need it). That transfer goes outside Suwe, so only ever send it to the account shown in the app. If you go silent past the window, the runner can end the job and your fees aren't refunded.
A bank account in your own name, provided by Anchor with 9PSB, that you can open in the Suwe app after a quick BVN check. It has its own 10-digit account number: top it up by transfer from any bank app, then pay for errands with no card fee and pay the shop from the app with your PIN. Money in it is held by 9PSB in your name and is NDIC-insured, never by Suwe. Opening one and receiving money are free; transfers out carry the bank's ₦50 fee, passed on at cost. Runners get their earnings there the moment the customer confirms and can withdraw any time.
Runners bid their own price on jobs. Paystack pays each runner's share straight to their bank account, usually within two working days of the job being paid for.
